Rhonda L. Smith, Senior Vice President

Rhonda Smith joined the company in 2003 as Senior Vice President for the Canadian operations.  She has more than 30 years’ experience in commercial real estate working in Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver.  Rhonda’s role is to provide leadership for B.U.K. and asset management for the portfolio.  In her capacity, she is also responsible for finance and investments.

Before joining B.U.K. Rhonda held a senior position with Morguard Investments in its Vancouver branch; founded her own property management firm (1982-1987), and worked for several years with Qualico Developments in its Calgary office.  She has an Urban Land Economics diploma from the University of British Columbia.

Colin Murray, Vice President, Leasing

Bringing over 20 years experience in commercial leasing, property management and operations, Colin joined B.U.K. as Leasing Manager in 2008. Working closely with existing tenants, new tenants, and the brokerage community, Colin strives to ensure the B.U.K. portfolio provides high quality, efficient premises at competitive rates. Colin believes that taking the time to understand specific tenant requirements and providing timely, accurate information on available premises, is critical to establishing long term successful relationships between B.U.K. and our tenants.

Colin enjoys a wide variety of sporting activities and spending time with his young son and daughter.

Isaac Zadka, Senior Property Manager

Isaac joined B.U.K. in 1996 in which he has previously held the position of Operations Manager and is currently the Property Manager for B.U.K.'s portfolio in B.C. He brings 20 years of experience in real estate, business, and technical background in refrigeration and carpentry. Isaac is focused on providing excellent customer service and takes pride in managing the properties to the highest standards. He leads an active life with his wife and two daughters including coaching sports and participating in local community activities.

Leo Lee, Controller

Leo Lee joined the B.U.K. Group of Companies in North America in 1989 as the Controller looking after finance, accounting, administration, and personnel. He reports to the President of B.U.K. Investment Ltd. Before immigrating to Vancouver in 1988, he worked for Jardine, Matheson & Co., Ltd. in Hong Kong and Taiwan for over ten years in the internal audit and various accounting departments. He also spent some years with Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand as an external auditor. Leo is a professional accountant. He is member of the Certified General Accountants of British Columbia, an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators in Canada, a Fellow Member of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in U.K., and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also holds a degree in Master of Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
